Welcome to my portfolio blog. I'm Kevin Goh and I'd just graduated from FZD School of Design.
I'm from Singapore aspiring to be a visual development artist.
My favourite themes would be sci-fi and fantasy. I enjoyed watching District 9, Avatar, Alien, Blade runner, Tron, Star Wars and LOTR
As for Japanese anime, my favourite directors are Hayao Miyazaki, Satoshi Kon, Katsuhiro Otomo and Mamoru Oshii. I definitely enjoyed watching Akira, Ghost in the Shell, Paprika, Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind, Princess Mononoke, Sprited Away and Howl’s Moving castle!
My love for books is not quite the bookworm-ish kind. I enjoyed reading Seinen genre manga, like “Gantz”, Battle Royale, 20th Century Boys, Berserk and much much more.
I collect more art books related to movies, video games and various artists.
I’m an avid gamer. Gaming has helped me in my Diploma for Entertainment Design. I understand many things from games and I hope to prove old school parents wrong that balance amount of gaming is an important part of children’s growth! It is not as bad as people generally think and it definitely help me relax when my work gets too tense.
